Experience Tour

And so I have heard and confirmed, Ms. Bootylicious herself has decided to include Manila in her Experience Tour for a one-nighty show on November 7, 2007. For sure, those people who like and idolize Beyonce will make all the necessary effort to grab a ticket for her show. I already have several people (whom I know) in mind who might just do that. :D

In a totally different story but a related one.. The FIRM, a.k.a. my company, (yes, this is totally related, believe me) has been been constantly looking for talents, skilled personnel to augment it's workforce. I'm pretty sure Giles would be able to relate to me when I say that the company has made a lot of effort trying to encourage us corporate slaves employees to help out in their quest.

Believe me, they have encouraged employees by enticing them with monetary rewards, free coffee from Starbucks, free boxes of donuts from Krispy Kreme, limited edition company-branded merchandise, iPods, movie tickets, trips to Boracay / Amanpulo, etc. Kulang na lang kotse at saka bahay at lupa!!

This time around, it took a unique turn or maybe I should say a really interesting turn. I have read a notice from the recruitment team that the FIRM is a sponsor (I just don't know how much of a sponsor we were) in Beyonce's Experience Tour. And the kicker? They are encouraging employees to make as much referrals they could to get a chance to win tickets for two to Beyonce's concert.

Well, it's only now that I have heard of such marketing scheme in a company such as the FIRM. But hell yeah.. I think they made a pretty smart move to do so. Kelangan ko mag-refer! Si Beyonce yun no!! :D
